CARDBUS SCSI ADAPTORS

LynnSoft, Inc. of Destin, Florida, today announced the release of software enabling the use of Adaptec SlimSCSI 1480A and 1480B adaptors running under Solaris 8 (for both x86 and Sparc platforms).

This software comes bundled with LynnSoft's PC Card Software, a collection of drivers and enablers for a wide variety of PC Card (PCMCIA/CardBus) devices.

ON PC CARD SOFTWARE VERSION 2.0 RELEASE 1.6.5

LynnSoft, Inc. of Destin, Florida, a PCMCIA software development company, has new low pricing of $99 on the LynnSoft PC Card Software Version 2.0 Release 1.6.5 for Unix systems from Caldera (SCO) and Sun Microsystems.

The LynnSoft PC Card Software Version 2.0 Release 1.6 is designed to be a seamless installation. It is of high quality and high performance and is modular easy to maintain. The software is also supported by multi PC Cards and PCMCIA Socket Controllers and is compliant with the PC Card 95 Standard.

LYNNSOFT PC CARD SOFTWARE VERSION 2.0 RELEASE 1.6 FEATURES

The LynnSoft PC Card Software Version 2.0 Release 1.6 supports the most popular socket controllers including Cirrus Logic, Texas Instruments, Intel PCIC, VLSI, IBM (Ricoh), SIS, and Vadem.

The LynnSoft PC Card Software Version 2.0 Release 1.6 contains a Card Service, a Socket Service, and a Configuration Database. LynnSoft also provides PCMCIA Client Device Drivers to support PCMCIA Fax/Modem cards, Ethernet cards, Serial IO/Multi-Port/GPS cards, and SCSI Host Adapter cards from various hardware manufacturers.

In addition, LynnSoft PC Card Software also contains the BTLD (Boot Time Loadable) SCSI device driver to allow users to install the Operating System onto their mobile computer through a PCMCIA SCSI Host Adapter card. Once the Operating System has been installed, the SCSI Device Driver allows users to add external SCSI peripherals supported by SCO UNIX Operating Systems.

Another addition to LynnSoft PC Card Software Version 2.0 Release 1.6 is a Super Clients Serial Device Driver that supports any serial devices such as Fax/Modem, Serial IO, and CPS Cards that are compliant with the PC Card 95 Standard.
